My husband was always complaining about the mess he would make trying to make his protein smoothie drink after his work outs, so this was the absolute perfect gift my kids gave him for Christmas. He couldn't believe that someone finally invented such a convenient and quick way to make smoothies all in one step. He had looked at Sams, Costco, Walmart, and Target, and although there were many mini blenders, you still had to transfer the drink into another container. With this set, the blender cup has the blade inside, so you just mix and go! This set is so great. The motor is strong enough to blend fresh fruit or frozen, ice cream or ice. You must follow instructions however and be careful to not blend for more than 20 seconds at a time, as to not burn out the motor. After blending, you pick it up and go. It has it's own built in straw (the blade is at the bottom of the drink bottle, so its important to rinse it well after using). It is a much better deal to purchase the blender along with 2 extra cups.I guarantee you will need them. My 2 kids and myself use it all the time, at home, on the way to school, etc. It is a great way for them to add fruit to their diets, it's both healthy and delicious. I will purchase more sets of these for gifts in the future because we are enjoying ours so much!
