My nine year old daughter wanted a sewing machine and like many other things she wants I didn't want a big investment only to learn she's bored five minutes in...this machine works perfectly. I haven't sewed in years and I was so pleased the instructions for threading the spool and bobbin were very clear and concise. She has been able to use it with ease and we're having fun making clothes for her stuffed animals.
I highly recommend this item, we've had no problems with it whatsoever and is easy to use for young and old and really sew like a sewing machine.
