Customer Review: Everyone's in love with my Rich and Dark Fudge Cake

I owned this Secura Turbo Oven for a couple of months, works very well, better than we expected. When introduced to the possibility of making cake in the Secura Turbo oven, I was a bit skeptical to be honest. Once I tested this recipe, I was amazed at the rich and moist taste that the oven provides when making cake. After the batter was placed in the oven, the cake began to rise in minutes with the same height and consistency as a conventional oven. The Secura Turbo oven, however, cooks the cake with a fraction of the energy and time.
I chose to use two smaller baking pans that were four inches in diameter to make my cake. This way, I could easily remove the cake from the oven and form a tall, restaurant style cake. With this said, it is completely possible to use two, ten inch cake pans to make a delicious and decorative cake. Just make sure to use both racks when making a large two layer cake. Chocolate is my guilty pleasure, so an extra element of chocolate, expressed through a dark chocolate frosting, was added to the rich cake base. To finish the cake, a small amount of confectioners' sugar was placed in a strainer and shaken above the cake. This sugar dusting provides quite the decorative touch.
The Rich and Dark Fudge Cake was prepared for a dinner party consisting of four people. When the main meal was complete and we moved onto dessert, my audience was amazed at the petit cake with an impressive height. Even better, while we were eating the main course, the cake was cooking in the Secura Turbo oven, working towards perfection. Once complete, the cake cooled for ten minutes, was frosted then served to my guests. With a warm and moist center, an impressive taste and decorative twist, this cake is sure to wow any member of your dinner party or family.

Rich and Dark Fudge Cake
Serves Four to Six People
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup Flour
1 cup Sugar, granulated
½ cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Egg, whole
½ cup Milk
¼ cup Oil, vegetable
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
½ cup Water, boiling
2 Tablespoons Confectioners' Sugar
Directions
1. Preheat the Secura Oven as instructed.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix the dry ingredients. Place the dry ingredients in an electronic mixer and mix on low speed. Add the oil, milk, vanilla extract and whole egg and mix for two minutes.
4. When mixed, add the boiling water and mix until well incorporated. Place the batter in the baking pan then place in the Secura oven.
5. Set the oven to 350'F, and the timer to 35 minutes. When the cake has cooked, allow the baked cake to cool for ten minutes before removing from the pan. Frost the cake if desired.
Tip: To easily remove the cake from the pan when cooked, coat your baking pan with a thin amount of butter followed by flour prior to cooking. The trick will keep the cake from sticking to the sides, allowing you to create a perfectly round cake.
