This is my second set of these coasters. (I bought another set from a brick and mortar store several years ago.) I enjoy these coasters because
(1) They actually hold water that drips from glasses/cups. This is the primary purpose of a coaster, yet so many of them fail in this regard because they have holes in them or don't have a raised edge to keep the water from rolling off the side.
(2) They are durable. The rubber is great...you don't have to worry about dropping it on the floor as it won't scratch anything or get damaged. Also, this particular rubber does not emit any detectable odor.
