Customer Review: A basic for everyday use

I LOVE this pot! It's just the right size for so many tasks, and with 2 stay-cool handles it's easy on the wrists, secure to move to sink or elsewhere, and takes less room on the stove than a typical large saucepan with a long handle. For boiling smaller quantities of pasta, I find this pot ideal: it pours easily and comfortably into a colander, and the nonstick surface cleans up without a hitch (i.e., no left-behind sticky gluten that's hard to get off).
A BIG added bonus: as well as fitting the Scanpan 8" frypan, the lid also fits perfectly on the 8" omelet pan that tops the LeCreuset 2-qt multifunction pan.
In addition to this pot, other Scanpan pieces are "naturals" because of their ability to tolerate high heat and metal utensils: the wok, the grill pan, and the rectangular roaster.
