Customer Review: Very poor product support

We purchased this unit in March, 2003 (with a one year warranty). Suddenly, in December, it stopped working. Since, we have been back and forth to the Sanyo appointed service agent three times, spoke to Sanyo respresentatives on the phone numerous times, and the unit is still with the service shop. It does not seem that the problem is fixable! Sanyo's support has been quite bad. They have not returned phone calls as promised; have not follow-up even though they promised to; and the service shop seems to be clueless!Update: 3/04. Sanyo has since sent us a new unit.

The oven has a capacity of .9 cubic feet and a 12-3/8-inch glass turntable that's large enough to fit a dinner plate full of food. The controls include six "quick keys" with preprogrammed cooking times for heating some of the most popular foods with the touch of a button. This oven also gives the option of defrosting by a food's weight or by amount of time. Cooking time is easy to monitor on the oven's two-color digital display. A perfect accent for a contemporary kitchen, this microwave has a stainless-steel front and interior with a black cabinet.
