This pan bakes the best pies I have made. The crust is flaky and evenly baked. My friend in Ireland had me get one for her. I bake a lot of bread in cast iron and was delighted to find a pie pan. I don't think I will use it for a pie which must be chilled,but for a baked pie its the best.Customer Review: great for the BBQ

Recently had a wood burning insert for my fireplace and neither a standard or half steamer kettle would fit. Found this pie place and it works quite nicely.
