The Sante Cabin Kitchen cast iron pizza pan came well-seasoned. We used it right away and got great results - thin, crispy pizza crust. We've only used it on the grill, but I suspect it would work well in the oven too. The one piece construction is nice - no attached handles to loosen or fall off. As with all cast iron, this pan stays hot for a long time, even after removal from the heat. Keep the potholders handy!

This is a poor quality, made in China, product. It arrived damaged with sharp, as broken glass, chips around the rim of the pan. I won't be buying any other Sante Cabin/Camp Chef [or any other made in China] cast iron products. Sante Cabin Kitchen 14-Inch Pizza Pan

We love this pizza pan! Our pizzas look beautiful, they are cooked evenly, and they don't stick to the pan. It's cheaper than buying a pizza stone, we don't have to worry about the temperature changes (pizza stones may crack if you take them out of the oven immediately), and the handles are quite pretty :o)

There is black paint coming off of the handles and when I oil the pan there is black coming off onto the paper towel. It doesn't seem right that paint should be chipping off of cast iron. It doesn't seem safe to cook in. I think i will return this pan.
