Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Santa Fe Quesadilla MakerCustomer Review: I should know since I'm from Santa Fe Summary: 4 Stars
Not a bad qdilla (that's what we call Santa Fe) maker at all. I find Quesadillas to be cheap and easy to make. This maker also provides even heating (often they will be hot on one side and cold on the other if cooked in a microwave or on a pan). Here is a tip: cut up some green chile and put it in with the cheese. It tastes great. Yeah, this works well, but I sort of wish it was rechargeable, since I would like to be able to take this with me to potlucks and not have to worry about plugging it into the wall. Small complaint, though!
Customer Review: Nice addtion to any household Summary: 5 Stars
This product works really easy and I am a guy that can cook and all I did was follow the directions and the quesadilla's came out brown and warm and the clean-up is simple too. So if you have the basic skills of cooking in the kitchen you should have no problems working this appliance. The only thing you need to worry about is finding the right tortilla's to fit the pan and if you accidentially spill over the edges( talking from experience the clean up is easy with a wet damp cloth) I hope this helps you in buying this product
Customer Review: Wonderful and Easy Summary: 4 Stars
I bought the Quesadilla Maker about a year ago and seem to use it all the time. It is a great way to make low fat quesadillas because there is not added butter to keep the tortillas crispy. The only thing that i don't like is that if you put to much cheese it will over flow and i tend to get it under the heating plate. I have taken it apart twice so far to get cheese from the inside of the machine. Other than that minor thing. This is a great item and i have bought it for many of my family and friends.
Customer Review: I really do enjoy my quesadilla maker Summary: 5 Stars
Since I found it marked down at 10 percent at a local drugstore. I have been having a blast making these quesadillas with this. I have made them before in the past using various other gadgets but found this to be the ideal way to make them. Before I'd get them on my grill griddle the fillings would fall out. same with my george foreman grill. This happens to be the easiest way and most fun way to make those. So far I have made plain cheese ones and Pizza quesadillas. I just love this and I know most will too.
Customer Review: It depends upon your needs..... Summary: 3 Stars
We love having quesadillas for a late night snack and thought this would be great. Unfortunately, it makes just as much clean-up work (or more) then cooking them on the stove. It is sturdy, but a little too much cheese and you're cleaning up drippings from the countertop as well as the sides. We have since opted to cook our quesadillas in the microwave for no mess or clean up. And the Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker? ..... well, its stowed away in the garage with the other great ideas that turned out not to be.
