I own many Sango Splash dinnerware pieces and am quite happy with my purchases. However, the bowls that are provided with the 16 piece dinnerware set are wide and shallow quite like pasta serving bowls. These Ice Cream bowls are a perfect addition. There is something very earthy and simple about their shape...think Asian rice bowl. They are perfect for serving rice, stew, soups, and of course ice cream. I highly recommend adding these if you feel the bowls included with your Sango Splash dinnerware set are too large and wide for some dishes (especially cereal).Customer Review: Just the size we need

We have the soup bowls (regular size) but we felt they are too big and needed a smaller option. Even though these are "ice cream" bowls this is just the size we need for cereal, a soup etc. For a cereal bowl I think they are too big. Great addition to our current set. The first shipment came with 1 plate broken and we called amazon and they sent a replacement right away without questioning. Overall very happy with the product and with amazon's customer service.Customer Review: These are so cool!

They don't go with my dinnerware at all, a mix of Napoli and Pistoulet. Found myself constantly going back to them anyway because there was just something about them. Then I figured "Why not?" I collect handmade stoneware mugs for after-dinner tea/coffee, and these go with them just fine! Just the right size for ice cream, cobblers, rice pudding, etc. My family is predominantly men, they don't go for "dainty" servings.Customer Review: SANGO SPLASH

GREAT addition to my set, I have 12. Perfect size for smaller servings, like icecream, salad. I have to agree with mrs. C the bowls that come with the set is big, but like them to serve pasta or stews, or a salad that is the main meal. This is great for starters or desserts.
Love mine, no broken one !

We love the Sango Splash set. It looks even better in person. The dishes are heavy and durable. They fit into my dishwasher too. The ice cream bowls are a great size for ice cream. I'm SO glad we went with this line and have more listed on our wish list for future purchases!!
