I am pleased to have added this handy item to my kitchen gadgets. I bought it mainly to measure ingredients when making homemade soap because of the feature allowing you to reset the measure to zero as you add additional ingredients. I have however found it to be most helpful in other areas making my measurements more accurate and easy than ever before.Customer Review: Perfect except . . .

I love my Salter scale and highly recommend. As others have said, it is compact, easy to store and to operate. I've been using for almost three years and have not had to replace the battery.
My one quibble - the readout is dim. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish fractions - 3/8 or 5/8 - in less than bright light.

Love this product. It has made life that much more easy to weigh things for Weight Watchers. It is conveniently stored on my wall, and with the feature of switching from grams to ounces, and the option of zeroing the scale with every new ingredient, it is very accurate! I love this scale. It is thin and fits into a kitchen drawer on top of some utensils I don't use very often. It is accurate and easy to use. I like the fact that it turns itself off so I don't have to worry about turning it off after use or the batteries wearing out. I used to own this scale -- not bought from Amazon, fwiw -- and it died on me after 6 months of very light use. One day it just wouldn't turn on. I bought replacement batteries, which didn't help. So now I'm the proud owner of 4 perfectly good extra CR2032 batteries (I salvaged the two packed with the scale before chucking it.)
