I recently purchased this knife and have been well pleased with its quality and performance. It has quickly risen to be my second favorite kitchen prep knife (my favorite is slightly larger). The grip is comfortable in my hand and the blade was very sharp right from the factory. I love the fact that this knife is so easy to maintain. Having a riveted synthetic handle makes it dishwasher safe plus it is easy to store in most knife holders/blocks. I would recommend this purchase as well worth the money!
Description of Sabatier Precision 8-Inch Stainless Steel Cook's Knife
Sabatier has been making fine cutlery in France for more than 150 years, and that experience is evident in this chef's knife from their affordable Precision line. The eight-inch blade should fit well in both small and large hands--that's a plus since it's likely to be the knife you'll reach for most often and it's crucial that it feels comfortable. The curved blade of the chef's knife is made to rock on a cutting board for easy chopping, dicing, and mincing of almost any type of food. Sabatier constructs their knives from heavy-gauge, high-carbon stainless steel for maximum strength and adds a full tang for perfect alignment and balance.
