Customer Review: Great, easy to clean, reusable straws

I have two young children (1.5 and 3.5) and we are always losing their sippy cups, and sippy cups easily get moldy, which is gross, so using regular cups with straws is often a better option. I have been buying packages of straws, but have been feeling guilty about the waste. These straws are perfect, they are stainless steel, so shouldn't leach any chemicals into your drinks and are very smooth so any debris rinses off easily. They are wide so you can drink smoothies with them and any pieces of fruit don't get stuck. They can go in the dishwasher with no problem. They are tall so they work well even in my taller cups.
They are a bit heavy. You never really notice when you are using a regular straw and it hits the bottom that you lift it with your mouth, but when you use these you do notice. It takes a little bit of effort, but not enough to complain about. I'm happy we got these.
