I got this single burner/hot plate to use for cooking at the office. It gets the job done and I would say that I am very satisfied with the purchase.
The burner gets nice and hot on the high setting.
It comes at a great price as well.
The first time I used it there was a little smoke coming from the plate but it went away after a few seconds. According to the manufacturer its normal for that to happen and it hasn't happened again.
