I have never owned an electric kettle before but this unit highly exceeded my expectations. Granted, I have only owned it for a week but have used it multiple times now. It is unbelievably simple to use- press down the only button on the kettle (with water in it of course) and it boils within seconds for 2 cups of water (enough for my instant coffee/tea and oatmeal)! Furthermore, it is completely noiseless- a big plus in an office environment. The way you know it is done boiling is when the button pops back up and also simultaneously shuts off. It looks great, performs great and is completely stainless steel- something in my research that seemed to be of great concern as heated plastic can be harmful to your health. Finally, the unit has a 1-yr warranty so I feel assured that it will last a while. I highly recommend this unit and will probably get a second one for home. If anything changes in this unit's performance you can be assured that I will update my review, as I buy pretty much everything from Amazon and base most of my purchases off other customer reviews (side note: Why can't people stop reviewing customer service or shipment speed and actually rate the product? It's not at all helpful when comparing products!)
