I purchased a 20 oz. Pink Rubbermaid Chug Bottle last year as a Breast Cancer Awareness product. The main reason I purchased it was part of the purchase price went towards breast cancer research...and the pink color is unusual and very pretty. I didn't realize how much I would like this bottle & have been trying to find another one ever since my original purchase.
This water bottle has a series of thin vertical ridges that circle the bottom of the container. I can hold the bottle using the grips & it won't slip out of my hand. It also has a gentle, curved shaping about 2/3 of the way up the bottle where it increases in size adding another, easier to use grip. If my hands are full, I can carry it using the finger loop. The lid also has thin, vertical ridges in just the right areas to make removing the lid easy. The opening is large enough to add ice. The mouthpiece, which is shaped similar to a purchased bottle of water, is covered by an attached white snap over lid which keeps it clean. The Chug Bottle can be put in your freezer & is dishwasher safe. It fits in my cupholders, is BPA free, and doesn't leak.
The Rubbermaid Chug Bottle is designed in the USA & made in Malaysia.
edited to add: My daughter thinks these water bottles have an odd smell; the smell doesn't affect the taste of the water. I filled them approximately half full with hot water, then added about 1 tbsp baking soda & some vinegar...get ready for it to foam up, I then added more water & a little more vinegar & filled the water bottle up to the top, put the lid back on, left them sit a day with the solution in them, then dumped the solution, rinsed the water bottle & lid...voila...the smell is gone.
