Customer Review: I don't think you should have to buy these, but it beats a new blender!

I love a good smoothie. I like to take frozen strawberries and chomp them up with juice or a no calorie juice substitute, and go from there. It works great but is hard on the blenders. What happens is there is a rubber piece in-between the drive and the blade so when push comes to shove, the rubber rips before the drive burns up. I have gone through a few blenders until I found out that you could buy these repalacement parts at Amazon. Eazy Squeezy. unscrew the two halfs and put in the new one.
My only issue is why does a frozen drink blender break when making frozen drinks?
Such is life I guess.
