I read all the reviews here and while I was a little concerned over damage in transit that some had mentioned, my ironing board arrived in excellent shape. The board is very wide, which I wanted, and it is very stable. I had an old cheapie before this one that wobbled--not this one! I knit sweaters and needed a wide board to pin the pieces on in order to block them before sewing them together. This Rowenta IB-6200 will certainly do every thing I want it to do. I like the iron resting plate which allows me to use ALL of the board. A very good purchase and one that should last the rest of my life.
