Excellent for stirring any cocktail. Perfect for flawless, frictionless, Japanese stirring technique without having to bend the spoon. The only complaint/caveat is that the actual head of the spoon is a bit small and not as heavy as similar high end spoons. So "cracking" Kold Draft ice cubes is not easily done, also using it as a generic ?oz measure won't do. No muddling capability with opposite end. ..not than any respectable barman uses a bar spoon to muddle given the wonderful selection of muddlers/pestles available online. So four spoons and tens of thousands of Sazeracs, Manhattans, and Martinis later, I still recommend this specific style/brand in all of my bar staff trainings/panels. Say no to cheap red tipped bar spoons. A mainstay in my kit everywhere I go.
