Customer Review: It's honestly the BEST can opener i've ever used!!!

This is honestly the very best can opener i've ever used. I"ve tried plenty of other "safety" can openers that claim they cut below the rim of the lid so that there are no sharp edges. My problems with all these OTHER saftey can openers are as follows: (1) it's hard to line up the cutting wheel with the lid; (2) if/when you do line it up, the turning of the cutting wheel is difficult and labored; (3) you don't know when you've gone all the way around, since there's nothing to indicate you've passed the starting poing (in fact, i think with some of these other safety can openers, i'm re-cutting a whole new line into the can which doesn't line up with the old line b/c there's no guide to keep it perfectly even); and (4) it's nearly impossible to lift off the lid.
Well, with the Rosle, ALL of those complaints are completely remedied. First, it's so simple to line up the cutting wheel with the lid b/c of that handy metal bar. You just place that metal bar flat on the rim of the lid, and turn the handle backwards a half-turn or so, and then turn the handle foward a smidge, and the cutting wheel is locked onto the lid. Second, turning the cutting wheel is so easy, it's almost effortless. No straining or working hard or difficultly in the least bit. Third, you will definately know when you've passed the point of the can where you started at, since there will be a noticable difference in the turning of the wheel when you hit the point where you started. To me, this confirms that the cutting wheel is going over the EXACT same point where you started, which makes sense since the metal bar that you used to line up the wheel to the lid would ensure that the cutting wheel stayed in the exact same position throughout the entire cut. And fourth, getting the lid off the can is very easy. All you have to do is flip your wrist while you're holding the Rosle opener after your last turn, and the lid comes off, held firmly in place by the Rosle's cutting wheel. To get it off the wheel, just spin the handle backwards a smidge.
All in all, the Rosle can opener is a SUPERIOR can opener, not only to that of the other "safety" can openers on the market, but also to the "regualar" can openers too.
