I have been cooking for 30+ years and have probably gone through about 7-8 garlic presses. If I had this one from the start..it would have only been one. This is worth the extra money...it is by far the very best garlic press ever made. I love it so much I don't even put it away...I leave it on the counter with my wine opener where I can easily reach it!Customer Review: Is it wrong to love a garlic press?

I just got the Rosle garlic press a few weeks ago and I love it. It's easy to use and easy to clean. It has a nice weight to it. It feels like a tool that will last many years. I had obsessively read all the customer reviews on Amazon for various garlic presses and I decided to spend the extra cash on this model. Completely worth it.Customer Review: Best Press Yet

This is a heavy duty garlic press, that has held up over time. I like that it doesn't get discolored, presses garlic easily, and cleans easily, due to the feature that swings the "grill" out when you twist the handles back. Just rinse/pull away the garlic skins and flip the handles back together. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Best garlic press on the market

I recommend it without reservation. This garlic press worked great for about 3 months--it easily crushed garlic pushing out everything leaving the peels. However, after 3 months one of the rivots holding the hinge broke with no way to fix. At that point the press became useless.
I would buy it again in a heartbeat if I knew it wouldn't break again.
