Let's face it, these cookie cutters are best used for cooking with kids, or letting them play with them. They do have many different basic shapes and will carry you through all of the holidays. They are good for playing with clay, or making cookies if you are not too finicky. These cutters do not always release well, and you do need to baby them along a bit if you want perfect results. In my opinion if you were looking for the perfect cookie cutter you wouldn't be buying a package of a 100 of them for such a low price. I think they are great for everyday. Be patient, or give them to the kids to play with. They are lot of funCustomer Review: Not for baking!

Adorable if you just want to give them to your kids to play with, but if you want to bake cookies, forget it. To get animal legs and tails out of the cutters without digging them out with a toothpick is impossible, not to mention the detail in the cars, trucks, etc. The numbers and letters aren't much better. Little kid frustration levels just aren't up to this. (Mine either!) Give me Wilton everytime. I haven't seen them selling in sets, but their individually sold cutters come in a wonderful array of shapes, and I never have a problems baking with them.

My goodness people are rather uptight. I doubt it's amazon causing the delay... I'm sure they want to sell the product and collect the $$, I'm sure they've been as "upfront" as possible it's just the product must be backordered...it happens. I've been waiting too but if one does not want to wait simply cancel the order (they make this super easy to do)...you have not been billed yet. Report to BBB?? what would you report? ...if the wait is too long don't buy. :) they have kept us posted along the way....

Usually bakers only use cookie cutters at Christmas. But this set is so diverse that it can be used the entire year. Of course it also includes holiday themed shapes for Christmas, Halloween, etc. No matter what the occasion, there is sure to be some cookie cutters in this batch to fit the theme. Since these are plastic and very durable, kids will have tons of fun using them. There are also so many shapes and colors that kids will easily stay interested. I bought these thinking it would be neat to start making fun shaped cookies. I haven't been able to get them away from my daughter. These are very sturdy plastic cookie cutters and work great with playdough and biscuit dough. Some of the cutters do get dough stuck in them (let it dry and the dough just falls out with a flick of a toothpick) and others like the bicycle are difficult to get out of the cutter. The designs are great, especially the letters and numbers. You have to buy these if you have small children
