Customer Review: Who knew there could be so many cookie cutter shapes?

I bought these for my 4 year old daughter to cut play dough shapes. These plastic cookie cutters are easy to wash and safe for kids to use. Her favorites are the flower, the star, the heart, and the letters. Some of the more complicated shapes, like the dinosaur one, are difficult to remove from the cutter and keep the shape intact. My daughter has also been using them as stencils with her markers.
The shape selection can be overwhelming, and the cutters are currently occupying 1/2 of my kitchen drawers. To cut down on storage space, I have been using them as tied decorations on all the b-day presents of her little friends. She gets to pick one shape to give to each friend.
The bottom line is that you're not going to find a better value or variety.

The cutters are very good. They are a high quality plastic and can stand up to the use of a 3 year old's help in the kitchen! They make great cookies, but they also make fun shapes out of sandwiches.
However, are they worth the wait? I borrowed my first set from a friend. I found the only place I could order them was from Amazon, and so I did -- the first order was in June, and by August I hadn't seen them yet. I cancelled the order and tried other vendors to no avail. So I re-entered the order on August 16, and it's Sept.7, and they tell me I shouldn't expect them until October! Shame on Amazon for not being more up front about this tremendous delay!

I am only a casual cookie baker with no need to make holiday cookies and only an occasional desire to make cookies. I wanted a set of cutters for the few times I do decide to make cookies. I found this set overwhelming and quite a space hog in my small kitchen. However, the cutters are very durable and of high quality and large enough to makes the shapes distinguishable in the finished cookies, so I can only imagine any serious cookie baker, especially a prolific holiday baker, would be tickled pink with this set. But if you are only looking for a sometime use set or have limited space I'd think twice about such a large collection of cutters.Customer Review: Bought For Another, Buying Another For Myself

I bought this as a birthday present for my sister last year. We have the best memories of making cookies with our grandmother, and my sister had just recently got into baking. This cookie cutter set launched me into the Sister Hall of Fame. She absolutely loves them. The tiny details do have a tendency to get stuck on a few of the cutters, but flouring or spraying Pam on the cutters should do the trick.
As for shipping, I didn't have a single problem. The cookie cutters arrived in the same package as the other items I had purchased for her. For certain, a smart purchase, and definitely one I'll be making for myself soon.

I have to say when I ordered this item for a christmas present for someone on Nov 16 I thought hey I'm ahead of the curve... Not So. An item that was in stock took until THE week before christmas to ship and didn't arrive until two days after everyone had left - including the recipient! Lucky I had forethought to order other items for this person, but come on - a 100 piece plastic cookie cutter set that was in stock couldn't make it to the tree when it was ordered more than a MONTH IN ADVANCE. Amazon falling flat on it's face! THis was not an Item that was ordered second had either. I'm severely dissapointed in Amazon this time!
