Customer Review: Huge roasting stick

I have only used it twice so far. So we will see how well the welds and coating hold up. It's very strong and a great handle. Though at 40" long, it is pretty heavy to hold over a fire for a long time. lol. Works well though. Pricing definitely puts this into the novelty range. I got it for it's length to keep me away from the fire. Each joint is created with 2 welds. And the whole thing is coated with some sparkling black coating. I have only used it twice, so we will see how long the coating lasts and the welds. Looks like it will last a long time. If you fill all 10 spots you will need a huge fire because of the length. I did 4 hot dogs at a time and then did 4 marsh mellows at a time for a good sized fire. With that in mind, there are many cheaper sticks for doing just 4 items. It's a great and fun stick, but I must admit that the price combined with the fact that I will likely never do more than 4 things at a time, puts this into the novelty item for me.
