This heats the cheese or chocolate in a smooth, impossible to ruin, masterpeice...but the cord is a hassle, first of all it's super short, obnoxiously short. If you use an extention cord it weighs it down so the magnetic hold on the plug doesn't really hold up and is always falling out.

having a problem with cheese burning on the bottom. It seems to be not-- non stick. I know usually stainless steel is not, but i cant find a way to make it not stick!
makes it really hard to clean...i have a burnt bottom one, sitting in my cabinet i dont know what to do with now!

I had been looking for an electric fondue pot forever. This is great! It cleans up so easily, and I love the way it looks. The holders for the forks keep everything orderly. The best part about this is that you can keep the oil hot. You don't have to worry about any open flame.Customer Review: A Good Pot

We used this fondue pot for beef/chicken fondue a couple of weeks ago and it was great. Got the oil to temp in good time. I like the shallow, wide design of the pot compared to my old standard deep, sterno-driven pot. I just wish the Rival had a lid to go with it.Customer Review: I love it!

Great non stick fondue pot. It cleans so easily. Electric fondue pots are really great and easy to use. I love mine. Every type of fondue I have cooked in it has come out fabulous. Yes, the cord is short, but not a big deal. Use an extension cord.
