Have always loved using large griddles for the ease of making lots of pancakes or french toast or eggs at one time- it significantly decreases the time I am spending in the kitchen making breakfast! What I have always despised though is having a big bulky griddle that I have NO ROOM for and or is difficult to clean- BUT This griddle is FABULOUS!! :)
WITH THIS GRIDDLE: It's EASY to clean- the plates from both sides come off quite easily and are still small enough that you can fit them in your sink if you have to (although I'm not sure if that's recommended)! It's easy to store- just fold it up and put it away- in a cupboard even because it folds up small enough to do so- YIPPEE!! The nonstick surface is NICE- and I haven't had one thing stick yet! The heating is pretty even also which I was worried about prior to getting it (because of some of the reviews)- but it doesn't have those "really hot spots" and "not so hot spots"- it's quite evenly heated across the board!
It's not the biggest cooking area ever but for me (in a small kitchen) I can still fit 4 pancakes/french toasts PER SIDE and I can still put it away and out of sight when I'm done, and I don't have to worry about anything sticking, so I am VERY HAPPPY with this purchase!
