We are very happy with the fondue. We like to have fondue 'bourguignonne' with all kinds of tender meat. It's very cosy to have this meal with friends and/or family, Everyone 'prepares' the meat the way he likes. You don't have to stand in the kitchen for hours to cook and I've never known someone who didn't like it. The Rival is a very good fondue, we are really happy with it and I recommand it for a cosy and enjoyable meal.Customer Review: Fun, Fun, Fun!

I love this electric fondue pot! We've used it for chocolate, cheese, and oil when we've had big parties and everyone likes it. It keeps the fondue at an even temp and the splash guard protects you from oil burns. I've had some difficulty cleaning it, but that was only after some cheese nuggets fell off the sticks and were burning in the hot oil all evening. You'll have lots of fun with this! Another reviewer commented on how easy the magnet electric cable pulls out of the pot, but that's not true. Maybe after a few years it'd be true, I don't know, but I like this safety feature. The cord is WAY too short. But it's stylish and works well, heats up fast. Glad it has 8 forks. The fork rests don't hold the forks perfectly, so everything still slides and gets tangled, but that's the nature of fondue cooking.Customer Review: Outstanding Fondue; Excellent Value

We wanted to re-live the '70's and needed an electric fondue for our house party. I searched the internet and this seemed the best buy for the money. It was not a disappointment. Outstanding price point and excellent quality. We are so glad we purchased an electric versus the old fashioned gel and fire, etc. It looks great and has done a wonderful job for us on several subsequent occasions. This is the best fondue pot. The magnetic cord is such a wonderful feature. The temperature is easy to regulate. It was super easy to clean both cheese and chocolate out of it. It has a wide opening which allows easier access to whatever you have inside, cheese, brooth, chocolate, soup, etc. I'm considering purchasing a second one so I can serve both cheese and chocolate fondue at the same time.
