It's 5 o'clock somewhere! These Riedel martini glasses are the perfect match for cocktail hour. Designed for the home bartender, these glasses feature a rather elegant, yet frugal size of 4-5/8 ounces; a more humble approach to martinis and great for self-proclaimed lightweights. As always, Riedel delivers top-notch quality in gorgeous lead crystal, with classic style. Packed in a set of 2, these glasses stand 5-7/8 inches tall, with a full capacity of 4-5/8 ounces.There's something very satisfying about the inverted cone shape of the classic martini glass. Riedel makes the Vinum martini glass in a smaller size than many, holding up to 4-5/8 ounces of a favorite Manhattan or gin martini. Measuring approximately six inches in height, each of the two glasses in this set feels beautifully balanced with a lanky stem that is not so thin that it is likely to snap during a lively cocktail party.
Made in Bavaria of more than 24 percent lead crystal for superb brilliance and clarity, Vinum wine glasses are nevertheless affordable because they are machine-made rather than mouth-blown. Since its introduction in 1986, the popular Vinum collection has grown to contain nearly two dozen different glasses. While all Vinum glassware is dishwasher-safe, Riedel recommends washing the crystal by hand to prevent detergent residue that can affect wine taste. --Ann Bieri
