Customer Review: Great Design for Utilitarian Implement

Two outstanding features about this server: Ricci Argentieri's beautiful art-deco reference and the 18/10 composition of the piece. The server would, admittedly, be easier to use if it had "tong" construction. But I bought it because of the great Italian design. And I am pleased that the server is heavy and has great lustre. The pattern also blends easily with any other other tableware. Sometimes we have to make choices between purely useful (I would have given this a five-star rating if it were constructed to scoop and grasp asparagus) and the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful object?
