Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Revere 3-1/2-Quart Copper Bottom Teakettle

Customer Review: Repeat Buyer
Summary: 5 Stars

We have been using the same, Revere 3 1/2 quart Copper Bottom Teakettles for the past fifty years. The recent purchase, the fourth one, was purchased to set up housekeeping in at a summer camp in Massachusetts. It was the first thing that we bought after four folding chairs!

We have a kitchen full of other Revere pots and pans that go back as far. We had to switch out the copper bottom pots and pans because we have a new glass top stove that requires very flat bottoms. We have the new stainless bottom pans now.

Enjoy!

Customer Review: Teakettle that holds water
Summary: 5 Stars

The Revere 3 1/2 - Quart Teakettle is a wonderful unit. Unlike most teakettles, this one holds enough water so a person can use it for cooking, and having water for tea or coffee for multiple people. It also pours water into a cup, instead of the cup and everywhere else, like some other companies kettles. As long as a person does not keep it on a hot stove when empty, it should last 20 or more years. I do wish there was a 5 or 6 quart unit. The 3 1/2 - Quart is difficult to find, so if you are looking for one, get it now.

Customer Review: Revere Copper Bottom Teakettle
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an excellent teakettle. We purchased it as an identical replacement for a Revere Teakettle that we have used for over 50 years. The old Teakettle developed a leak at the seam between the top and bottom, probably as a result of ignoring the manufacturer's instructions to never place it on a burner larger than the teakettle's bottom or on a burner turned on high! It lasted all these years anyway. We have always found the capacity to be just right and ordered online when I couldn't find a replacement in a local store.

Customer Review: Great Teakettle!
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband started drinking a lot of tea, and we didn't have a teakettle. I researched a bunch of different ones and even checked out some in the department stores, Williams-Sonoma, etc. I found most to be either too expensive (W-S) or cheaply made. I settled on this one because it was plenty big enough, looked really nice, didn't have tons of flimsy plastic, and was a great price. I haven't been disappointed. It does what it is suppose to without problems. It fits nicely on my gas stove and heats water quickly.

Customer Review: Revere 3-1/2 Qt Teapot
Summary: 5 Stars

I had my previous Revere 3-1/2 Qt teapot of the same model for more than 30 years.I'm sure it would have outlived me, except that I carelessly let it boil dry, damaging the plastic parts.Even with that, the pot itself was still tight and leak-free.Shipping: It must have gone out the same day I ordered it. I only live about 40 miles from the shipper, but 2 days from ordering for minimum-price Ground is not shabby at all.

Overall: This is the "Gold Standard" We're all looking for in E-Commerce.
