Our pecan trees really produced this year so my wife and I decided to buy another nutcracker. We had bought a Reeds Rocket several years ago and have been quite pleased with it. However, we couldn't remember which store we got it from and could not find a store locally that carries them. When I went to Amazon.com and found one exactly like our original I immediately ordered it. We cracked and processed over 60 cups of pecan this year without one problem.Customer Review: Perfect!

This product is exactly what I was looking for. The Reed's Rocket Nutcracker arrived within 2 days and we have been using it to get the pecans ready for Christmas baking! I'm also safety conscious and selected this Nutcracker because it had sound construction. It definitely surpassed my expectation and arrived quicker than I expected. I was disappointed in this nutcracker. I had small hazelnuts to crack, and the handle bent out of shape right away, probably because the barrel didn't adjust to a small enough size to get the force necessary to crack them. I had high hopes even after reading other reviews. This will crack Englilsh walnuts, but they practically open themselves! This is a lot of trouble for not much help. Almonds and hazelnuts just roll right out and can't be cracked by this. I wish I had not purchased this!Customer Review: Now here's something to crack your nuts with!

Really, I have been cracking thin shell nuts with this little jem and I very seldom need a pick to get the smashed nuts out with. It adjusts to the size of nuts being cracked and is very simple to use.
