I needed new flatware, and I only knew I wanted something sturdy and heavy. I found out that 18/10 stainless was the heaviest product available, so I set out to find a pattern in 18/10 stainless that I liked. Reed & Barton Classic Braid met all of my criteria, and I am thrilled with it.

Contemporary in feel, the Classic Braid collection features straight edges, a squared off base, mirror finish, and a small decorative braid motif that adorns the base of each handle. This 65-piece flatware set includes 12 place settings, a 5-piece hostess set, and a wooden storage caddy to hold the entire collection. Each place setting includes a place knife, place fork, place spoon, salad fork, and teaspoon. The hostess set includes a cold meat fork, tablespoon, pierced tablespoon, butter serving knife, and sugar spoon. Crafted from 18/10 stainless steel, the 18 percent chromium aids in corrosion resistance and the 10 percent nickel increases luster and shine.
