I bought this light as a set of 2 at Costco put have to say I love it. I live alone but do not like a bright light on while reading in bed and have bought several different lights. I do not clip this on the book as to me it is to heavy for a paperback. I set the book on my chest or if I am lieing on my side I set it on the bed and shine it on the book I'm reading. I love the idea of being able to recharge the battery. I do have 1 that is brighter than the other and wish they were the same put it beats everything else I have tried.Customer Review: Great little book light

The light is great for knitting, reading, Kindle, and I love that it is re-chargeable. It lasts over a week on a charge if I use it about an hour each night. I also like that it bends in a couple of places so you can get the light right where you want it.
The only thing I don't like is that as the battery runs low, so does the light, but they recommend completely discharging the battery before you re-charge. I end up leaving the light turned on, on the bed stand all day to completely discharge, then I can charge it up.

I purchased this thinking it was an answer to my booklight problems. I am an avid reader and have used many different types of booklights which all have required batteries. So, the idea of a rechargeable booklight sounded perfect. Well, it would be perfect if it didn't flicker constantly. There seems to be some disconnect when the clip folds down that causes the lights to flicker. Maybe some day some one will figure out a better way to build a rechargeable booklight. Until then, I'm back to the Flip Light and batteries.Customer Review: a great idea badly executed

I bought two of these at Brookstone for $[...] each - I loved the idea - they look great and the recharging stand seemed very smart at the time. One of the two worked fine, the other flickered constantly, and would not hold its position. Then I found a two-pack of the same light at Costco for $[...]!! Guess Brookstone was making out pretty well on this. But both of the two new lights flicker and don't hold their position. So my suggestion is, no matter what the price, they aren't worth it. I love this light. I have had two of them so far and use it every night. I read before falling asleep and this is the perfect light. It doesn't keep my husband awake because the light is centered on your page. I would recommend buying this light to anyone. I used to have one that was battery operated and went through so many batteries. I like it so well, I wore my first light out. It lasts a long time and is well worth the money.
