I received this product as a gift as I belong to multiple wine clubs. I do enjoy my vino, but this gift has not enhanced my wine drinking experience as I know the sender hoped it would. The device is bulky, hard to clean and poses more trouble than its worth. save your $$$ and get a nice wine bottle chiller, or better yet a just get a nice bottle and chill appropriately. I will keep my gift, as the thought was very sweet, but it's not a pleasure to use.

Great idea in concept but poorly implemented. Instead of using metal for the seams they use cheap plastic that breaks upon freezing even after drying it first as recommended. Overall the product is too much work to use (you have to wait to refreeze and use this plunger thing to pull out excess water). Stick with Vinturi aerator instead. Thankfully Sur la Table let us exchange.Customer Review: A "must have"

It doesn't work. The wine won't pour out. We thought it might have water frozen in it. Thawed it out, dried it and tried again, still did not work.
