Rapid Brew Stainless Steel Stovetop Coffee Percolator, 2-9 cup
We got this percolator on Jan 04 2011 and today (hardly 2 weeks later) 12 Jan 2011, we discovered a crack spanning the entire top of the glass stopper. We hadn't used the dishwasher to clean it, nor subjected it to any extreme heat conditions or changes, being aware that such changes can damage glass components. Not did we turn the stopper any tighter after it engages in normal screwed-on mode. What then would be a durable glass stopper replacement for this percolator, without chucking the entire product because asking for a replacement is not the solution, given that many users here have the same problem with the stopper.
