I really liked using these. Use them every day.
However the ring on the bottom is welded to the mesh. So if small particles of food, anything that is sticky or does not rinse immediately out, then, these substance can stuck since there is the opening is blocked by the ring.
You may have to use a tooth brush or similar tool to get out any debris.
Quick frankly, I dont know the solution. As the ring really provides much needed stability. It can be frustrating for a mesh strainer to loose its shape and that hasn't happen yet.
