I bought this tool to slice cheese elegantly, but that was my dream. Its blade is surely more stronger than the cutter with string. However, instead, it is dull.

This modern cheese slicer is made from 18/10 stainless steel and given a satin finish. Instead of the single wire utilized by most cheese slicers, this one has a sharp, solid stainless steel blade for cutting through a variety of cheeses. The 7 x 5.25-in. base is perfectly sized to hold a standard block of cheese while the 7.75-in. long curved handle offers substantial leverage and a comfortable grip.
