The price on this was better that other sugar shakers I had seen. It seem so to be built durabily, and I like the plastic lid. It doesn't work that well for shaking powdered sugar on my french toast. You have to shake it at just the right angle and you can't have too much sugar in it. When does come out the sugar makes a mess. It is a little more convenient than the strainer method I was using.Customer Review: The description of item is wrong!

I ordered this based on the size... 4 oz. I wanted something small. What I recieved in the mail is not 4 oz.. it's 12 oz. I can find plenty of 12 oz mesh shakers for 5.99 at World Market & other stores. I wanted a 4 oz shaker & was willing to pay & did pay a higher price to have a small shaker. I'm very disapointed that I got a large 12 oz. Item description is mis-leading.

I got 2 shakers, one for flour and one for powdered sugar. They work well, the only thing it's hard to unscrew the plastic cap on one of them. It's very tight, and every time I try to unscrew it, the whole top comes off.

This is the best powdered sugar shaker I have had yet. It has a cover to protect the sugar from moisture when not being used. The suger comes out easily through the mesh, and I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Mesh shaker
