I bake a lot of bread, and usually four or five loaves at a time. I wanted a 2 cup measuring cup to speed up the process of measuring out flour. On the inside of this cup, the measuring amounts are printed: 1/2 cup, 1 cup, etc up to 2 cups. Unfortunately, the 2 cup mark is lower than the lip of the cup, so if I simply fill the cup and level off the flour, I will actually have MORE than 2 cups. This cup is fine if you are measuring liquid, but for dry measurement, this cup will not be accurate. I am learning to work with it only because I don't see any other choices out there for a 2 cup DRY measuring cup. If you want to measure liquids, melt butter, etc this cup is great. It is sturdy, nice looking, and well made. Just not exactly what I needed. They should explain this in the product description.
