Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of R.S.V.P. 96-Piece Spice Label SetCustomer Review: Get Glass Spice Bottles and These -- Fantastic! Summary: 5 Stars
I have completely transformed my spice shelves. It just took a few bucks and some effort, but now I'm all set. One of life's little pleasures.
I dumped all my out of date or lesser grocery store quality herbs and spices and bought from a bulk seller online. Not only is the quality WAY better, but at $2 per oz, the price was right as well. Then I got the 48-pack of glass spice bottles (from Amazon) and these labels, got out my funnel and got to work. This was actually fun and in the end I had all of these uniform bottles lined up on the counter with a full range of earthtones. Very pretty!
I also got the Todco Spice Stack (see Amazon) which holds 27 bottles. They are all perfectly alphabetized. You don't have to have short ones in front and larger ones in back. You don't have to move one spice to see another. And they are in a mostly enclosed space, so you don't have to worry about dust.
Just gorgeous!
Customer Review: Met My Needs Summary: 4 Stars
I had ordered two spice carousels which came with labels -- but there was no label for several of my normal spices. Although some blank labels were provided, I'm a little OCD about some things, and I wanted continuity so I decided to give this set a try.
I applied the labels to my white carousel spice containers. The label has a good size font and is easy to read with the black writing over my white background. I would have preferred the labels be slightly less wide than they are but problem was solved by cutting a sliver off the sides. Best of all, this set contained a pre-printed label for every spice I needed -- no tacky handwritten labels for me!
Customer Review: Made my own instead! Summary: 1 Stars
Make the labels yourself with dymo because this label set doesn't have everything and are somewhat unattractive. It's probably less to buy the label roll for the dymo label maker than it is to buy this set that has labels you won't use and labels that don't come with the set. If you don't have a dymo label maker, then it really would be a great investment for future use on a variety of things. Sure there's blank labels in this set, but if I wanted to write my own labels, I would have done them all in my own handwriting. I made the mistake of buying this set and ended up making my own anyway.
Customer Review: Good Labels Summary: 5 Stars
These labels met my expectations for the most part. They stick well and I have had no issues with them coming off of my spice bottles.
The only things I didn't like was a few spices I had (and some common blends) were not included and that there could have been more blank labels included. The words are hard to see on the glass jars of some of my darker spices, but these have kept me much more organized than I was before!
Customer Review: Label Set for Spice Rack Summary: 4 Stars
These are spare or replacement Labels for the RSVP International Revolving Spice Rack 16 Bottle. The labels themselves have no issues with us, however, as part of the spice rack they are hard to read -- low contrast. (See my review of the spice rack itself for more on this.)
Overall, I would recommend them despite the readability issue.
