I admit to being a foodie, and Elton Brown (host of Good Eats) said I HAD to have one of these, so... I could have purchased a much less expensive version, but let's face it, four and twenty may be an awkard number, but one cute little pie bird was a must have. I will not bake fruit pie again without this treasure. It really does vent the pie, and prevent the juices from spilling out and burning in my oven. Pie bird - yes. This one is up to you, but I think it's too cute.Customer Review: This really works!
