Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Quick Nut CrackerCustomer Review: Not good for smaller nuts Summary: 2 Stars
Works fine on walnuts, which is why the 2 star rating, but smaller nuts like filberts or almonds fall to the bottom and just slip around and pop up when you squeeze the handles. The only way I could get a few of them cracked was by sticking my finger in and holding it down. This only worked on some nuts. I think the shape of the nut as well as the size is what made some crackable and others not. All in all, it's a whole lot of work to get a few nuts cracked, which might be ok if you're just sitting around eating them, but if you need quite a few for a recipe this is definitely not the way to go.
Customer Review: Appropriate name for the nutcracker Summary: 4 Stars
I have this and plan to order it for a friend. I have small hands and I find it very easy to crack nuts using this devise. It doesn't require a lot of strength to use it. Also, it is very handy for unscrewing the tops of soda, juice, or sauce bottle. I would definitely recommend it.
Customer Review: It broke after 2 usages Summary: 2 Stars
The product is handy but quality of product is cheap as it broke after couple of usages.. The cast Iron it was made of is weak and meant for only light usage and maybe bottle opening.
