Do you need to prepare your meals in advance for the week? The Pyrex 4-cup Round Dish is perfect for each of five or six three to four hundred calorie meals per day whether hot or cold. If you commute by bike, then you can't prepare meals like normal folks. The new normal requires that you prepare your meals for the entire week in advance, so that each morning you just load up the bike and go. This also gives you ultimate control over your diet with containers that do not soak up oders or leach hormone-like chemicals. Beautiful. I bought twenty of them. Downside? Glass can be heavy for a thirty minute bike commute, but it builds strong legs!Customer Review: We love this Pyrex bowl!

We first purchased a package of several sizes of this style of bowl at Walmart, several years ago. We found it is superior to any plastic product for heating, then storing, and later reheating food. I consider it almost unbreakable, even though we have broken several by dropping over the last few years. Great for the microwave or oven. The lid fits tight and seems dishwasher safe in the top shelf. We purchased more than we need because we fear they will be discontinued, and/or the price will continue to rise. The whole point of buying a Pyrex jar with a lid is because you want to store something and not let the air get to it. These products are not fit for purpose in this regard. Even if you treat the lids carefully and wash them by hand and do not subject them to heat they soon become useless as an air proof lid. We bought some silicone lids and these work well but it is annoying that we bought a unified product from Pyrex that does not do the job it was sold for.Customer Review: Love these!

I own several sizes of these storage bowls and love them. They are sturdy, look good in the 'frig and on the table plus allow me to use them in the microwave without worrying about chemicals leeching into our food. The lids have been washed repeatedly in the top rack of our dishwasher and have held up well so far. Yes, they are spendier, but worth it. Also, I got mine during an Amazon special so managed to pay a more palatable amount.Customer Review: Regardless of the money

Regardless of price, Pyrex items kick butt. I use my Pyrex pieces for ALL storing - food, dog food, liquids, random things, etc. In regards to price, it is often cheaper to buy a storage "set" on sale from Amazon or at outlet stores. However, I definitely recommend Pyrex - the pieces are awesome, they don't hold odors or stains, and they last forever!
