I bought a Pyrex bowl set with lids 25 years ago. I still have them. My daughter is getting married and I thought I would buy some for her. I looked at Walmart, Target, Penney's, Kohl's and could not find them. Finally found them here. I can't believe that I didn't look here first and save me alot of time. Anyway, the bowls are terrific. They can go in freezer, refrigerator, microwave and oven. They will last forever. I bought my daughter a set and myself a new set (couldn't resist, price was too good).Customer Review: Great Bowl Set

This bowl set is sturdy and has a good variety of bowl sizes to fit most needs. Quality of Pyrex makes it easy to fix, cook and store in the same bowl. Lids provide color, easy stacking and a good seal. One dissappointment was how the lids tend to stain easily. After only one use, one lid stained on the underside from a tomato mixture being stored. So far, I have not been able to remove the stain. Without the lids, the bowl set stacks nicely, but with all four bowls, the set is pretty heavy.Customer Review: love this

love this, my fridge does not have enough dividers, I use these bowls to stack left over. They are excellent, easy to clean, easy to store, and I use them to bake. the biggest one is prefer for storing watermelon, tuna and egg pasta salad, or soup. I found myself cannot get enough of these. Bought these during the 4 for 3 promotion. just slightly heavier than I want it to be. since my hands hurt from typing too much, it would be better and faster to clean if it's lighterCustomer Review: Great Quality Bowls to last a lifetime!

I recently purchased 2 sets of these bowls, one for myself and the other for a friend of mine. The 8 piece set is great! I like the variety of sizes that the bowls come in and the lids are great for storing food in the refridgerator. Glass bowls are so much better than plastic bowls because they don't absorb the smells of the foods you make in them. They are also very easy to clean. Bought these for my son in grad school (among other kitchen equip.), but this is the only one he specifically called me to tell me how much he loves and uses the mixing bowl set. He likes the idea of storing his food in a more environmentally helpful, less polluting container. And he can cook, serve and store in it. Initially I was worried about the weight of the bowls, but he says they can withstand a lot of use.
