Customer Review: Much better than expected

Given the price (compare it to other silicone spatulas), I was not expecting much from these spatulas. We have two other silicone spatulas that have metal handles and we use them all the time because they do not scratch non-stick pots, they are soft and great for scraping and heat resistant (we use them to saute onions all the time without problems). I figured these would be a good way to add to the collection.These spatulas are big. The head of the big one is 2.5" x 4". The length overall is maybe 14". I was a bit worried about the lexan (even though it is used for bulletproof glass) handles but they are thick and sturdy.
So why 4 stars instead of five? Two reasons: I find the size of the spatulas (mainly the handles) a bit too big and there is a little, slightly sharp piece that sticks out of the handle about 3/4 up the shaft. This is to prevent the spatula from sliding into a bowl if unattended but, for me, just makes the handle less comfortable (and how big a bowl do you need to lose a 14" spatula? maybe in a restaurant?)
