I love this measuring cup. There are so many uses for this measuring cup - our latest is to check the amount of liquids dispensed by the various cycles on our Keurig brewer. When it's in need of a cleaning it brews shorter cups. Accurate measurements, easy to read, also does real well in the dishwasher. We've had one of these Pyrex measuring cups for years and love it. Made from a heavyweight glass, these are very sturdy. I would have gone as far as to say 'virtually indestructable', but my wife somehow dropped ours and shattered it a couple of weeks ago. As soon as it happened, I was here ordering a replacement. I purchased this item from Amazon to replace one the cops broke when they raided my lab. It's durable and holds up well to caustic chemicals, and is accurate enough for the work I'm doing. I can also attest that these will hold up to chemical explosions pretty well, at least much better than my former "business partner" did (may he rest in pieces).Customer Review: Basic Necessity

I broke my last Pyrex when I dropped it when I bought it outside (I actually had dropped it before and it did not get damaged), so I had t get another Pyrex to replace it.
It pours very well, comfortable to handle and can go from microwave to the fridge and everywhere in between. Easy to read markins and wide enough to stir and mix.

I have owned a set of pyrex measring cups for a few years now. They are durable and hard wearing. They go in the dishwasher fine, and the microwave. Handle hot liquids just fine. I can mix in them, and pour mixtures from them. And yes they measure great as well! If you can only own one measuring cup set, then this would be the one to get.
