I use my glass measuring cups all the time, not only for liquid measuring but also on the stove top in a pan of water to melt wax for lip balms. I also cook rice in the microwave with it and use it occasionally to steam veggies in the microwave. Since it's glass it's extremely easy to clean. If you're measuring something sticky I recommend hitting it with some non-stick cooking spray, but that's true anytime you're measuring things like molasses or honey.
Echoing the other reviewers, it is 2 cups with clear markings, it's durable and microwave safe. You can't ask much more from a measuring cup. The lip works perfectly well in my applications.

But it's a measuring cup that's well marked, well constructed, easy to clean and does its job. Can't review it much other than to say if you need a 2-Cup measuring cup, this isn't a bad choice.

I have this in several sizes. I like glass it is pure does not hold stains and it does not give off any gases. I have several sizes. I have had one many years and I can still see the numbers. I bought a 1 quart size for $3.00 at a flea market like new. You really can't beat the pyrex for functionality, looks and durablitly.
