I had the hardest time finding a simple, magnetic timer. This Pyrex timer was perfect. It's doesn't feel light weight or cheaply made. In fact, it's quite heavy and has survived me dropping it several times. The magnets hold great with no sliding down my fridge but it's easy to get off as well. You just twist the cover to select the duration (minutes) and press to start or pause. The beeping isn't too loud or too quiet. The battery life is about one year.Customer Review: Love this timer

Nice, easy to set, easy to read digital timer. It has strong magnets on its backside for mounting. I have my attached to the nearby refrigerator and it works great.
