Remarkable tool. If you're like me, when I want to have a glass of wine, I want to have it now. Unless you are in to the screw-top lids or 'box wine'... (none for me, thank you) you are going to encounter the dreaded cork-removal phase of the experience. I have no desire to spend my evening battling a wine cork. This tool eliminates all guess work and hassle. It removes the cork with a minimum of fiddling about and even more importantly; it removes it all in one piece! A marvelous addition to the wine-drinker's pantry.
To the reviewer that only gave this item 2 stars because it had a 'winery name embossed on it'... I don't know what yours reads, but mine sports the name of the manufacturer: Pulltaps. Which is as it should be. But for the record, it could have the words 'you're an idiot' embossed on it, and that still wouldn't cause me to deduct a single star from the review, because the product itself is VERY effective in removing the cork, which is what I bought it for!
To those considering this purchase; you will not regret it.
