The readings on my thermometer are way off... a medium rare london broil registers at about the 'g' in Progressive and boiling water at about 165 degrees. I only used it once, and thankfully I was keeping an eye on it so my london broil didn't get over cooked. Anyway, this product was a waste of $10 for me... too bad because if it only read the temperature right, I love everything else about it!
Edit: I was just about to throw it away when I took off the silicon and realized you can adjust the dial on the thermometer... now I just need to find some way to calibrate it... wish THEY had done this part, but I'm at least glad that it's not a piece of junk anymore.
